I have a midi for a map I'd like to use.. only problem is there's 3 seconds of silence before it starts playing.. the program I use is a midi destroyer that chews up all the notes and regurgitates them into a hellish piano fest, haha.. anyway, if anyone can help me out here I'd be eternally grateful!
Have you tried Anvil? If you open the file with it, you should be able to remove the initial silence if you go to View=>Piano Roll Editor. Click with your mouse on a specific track time (above the notes) of your choice. A blue arrow should appear. Go to File=> Truncate Song=>Delete from start to current position. Save the file. Done!

Hey man, sorry for the non reply.. but yeah, I finally managed to do it! The artist wrote the midi in a weird way that adjusts each track during the 3 seconds of silence, haha.. it obviously wasn't made with being reused in a Doom wad in mind.
